Ukraine has increased sales of its goods

Ukraine increased exports of goods - in March 2025, this indicator increased by 4.5% and 18% more than in February of this year.

This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine - Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka reported that in the first quarter of 2025, exports of goods reached almost $9.9 billion.

"Despite the decrease in the physical weight of Ukrainian exports, their monetary value is increasing... Thus, the share of goods with higher added value is gradually increasing, which means that the Ukrainian processing industry is successfully overcoming obstacles to its development as a result of the war and entering foreign markets," Kachka emphasized.

In March, Ukraine exported the most:

  1. corn ($514.4 million);
  2. sunflower, safflower or cottonseed oil ($503 million);
  3. wheat ($253.9 million);
  4. iron ore and concentrates ($238.4 million).
  5. soybeans ($150.2 million);
  6. insulated wires ($124.6 million);
  7. cast iron ($118.9 million).

Most goods were exported to countries such as:

  1. Poland ($407.7 million);
  2. Turkey ($294.3 million);
  3. Italy ($231.8 million);
  4. Germany ($196.3 million);
  5. China ($189.4 million);
  6. Spain ($185.7 million).

The Ministry of Economy emphasizes that the EU remains Ukraine's key trading partner. In total, in March, Ukraine exported goods worth $2.04 billion to the European Union, which is 6.1% more than in February.

In view of this, People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak believes that the introduction of 10% tariffs by American leader Donald Trump should not have a significant impact on Ukraine, given the volumes of exports to the States.
