On Sunday morning, April 6, Russian forces launched ballistic missiles at Kyiv. Rescuers are currently dealing with the aftermath in the Darnytskyi, Obolonskyi, and Solomyanskyi districts of the capital.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko .
In particular, in the Darnytskyi district, a fire broke out in a non-residential building at one address. At another, the building was destroyed and three cars parked nearby caught fire. The fire was extinguished.
In Obolonsky - at one address, a fire broke out in a furniture shop, with the flames spreading to another warehouse building. At another, there was partial destruction of floors 3, 4, and 5 of a 5-story business center.
"In the Obolonsky district, where a fire broke out in an office center as a result of an enemy attack, the building was partially destroyed. Rescuers are working on site," the mayor commented.
And in Solomyanske - as a result of the attack, separate fire outbreaks broke out in an open area and the facade of a warehouse building caught fire. The fire was extinguished.
"In total, three people were injured as a result of enemy shelling, two of whom were hospitalized. 128 firefighters and 27 units of fire and rescue equipment are currently involved in eliminating the consequences," the rescuers added.
Recall, on March 23, the Russians killed 5-year-old Nicole and her father Alexander in a drone attack .
