President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with President of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

The heads of state praised the prospects of trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Egypt, as well as discussed further steps to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in key areas. The President of Ukraine expressed interest in further strengthening trade and economic cooperation with Egypt, our country's largest trading partner on the African continent and in the Middle East.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared his readiness to further bilateral relations between Egypt and Ukraine as well as to contribute to the development of trade between two countries by increasing the supply of Ukrainian products to the Egyptian market.
Al-Sisi, in turn, said that Egypt is also interested in expanding cooperation with Ukraine. In addition, he plans on creating a hub of Ukrainian companies participating in Egyptian industrial zones.
The Presidents agreed to have a meeting of the Intergovernmental Joint Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between Ukraine and Egypt, as well as to hold negotiations at the level of foreign ministers.
The topic of strengthening cooperation in the military sector was discussed separately. In addition, Zelenskyy stressed on the potential of cooperation in the space industry.
The President of Ukraine reiterated the invitation to Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to visit Ukraine.
