On Monday evening, January 31, another plane arrived in Ukraine with military assistance from the United States, carrying 84 tons of ammunition of various calibers.
This was announced on Twitter by by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.
"The fifth bird in Kyiv! Another 84 tons of ammunition of various calibers! In the next days, we are waiting for the next cargo of defense weapons from our friends from the United States!", he writes.
It should be noted that this is the fifth aircraft with American military assistance since January 22.
In total, according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the United States plans to carry out 45 military assistance flights to Ukraine. On board: ammunition, counter-battery equipment, anti-tank weapons, small arms, etc.
As Apostrophe reported, many other countries, in particular the Netherlands, expressed their readiness to help Ukraine with ammunition amid the threat of Russian invasion.
