"We will never forget" - President Volodymyr Zelensky honored the memory of Ukraine's defenders

On December 15, during his working trip to Lviv, President Volodymyr Zelensky honored the memory of the defenders of Ukraine who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

This is reported on the website of Presidential Office.

"Lviv. Field of Mars. We will never forget our heroes who fought for freedom and defended Ukraine! We remember the price of our freedom and independence. Eternal glory to all who stood up for our state" - wrote Volodymyr Zelensky.

As stated on the Presidential website, along with Zelenskyy the memory of the fallen soldiers was honored by the Head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, and his deputies, as well as the Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozitsky.

The President and the Head of the Presidential Office laid flowers on the graves of the Heroes buried on the Mars Field at Lychakiv Cemetery. These are soldiers and sergeants who died in battles with Russian invaders in the spring of 2022 and early 2023.

Since April 2022 in its central part bury those who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
