RF will not disappear anywhere: NATO country urges Ukraine to start "peace talks" with Putin

Ukraine and Russia should start "peace talks" as a full-scale war is moving to the status of "frozen".

This opinion was expressed by Slovak Defence Minister Robert Kaliniak.

According to him, Ukraine and Russia will always have common borders regardless of how the full-scale war ends. Kaliniak believes that the situation on the front is now "frozen", so both countries need to start a peaceful dialog.

Moreover, Kaliniak added that allies, represented by the United States and the European Union should be involved in the negotiation process.

"No matter how the conflict ends, Ukraine will always have borders with Russia. It will not disappear. "Peace talks" are what they need most," the NATO country's Defense Minister continued.

Slovakia is interested in Ukraine being a democratic and independent state. However, it should not be forgotten that Vladimir Putin's plans extend not only to Kyiv, but also to neighboring countries.

The more successful Ukraine will be, the further Russia will distance from it and Slovakia, the Defense Minister of the European state added.
