Has the US permitted to strike inside Russia with its weapons: The Pentagon gave an answer

Despite the fact that more than 11 countries have already permitted the use of Western weapons to strike at Russian territory, the Pentagon's policy in this regard remains unchanged - strikes outside the country's borders are not allowed.

This was stated by Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh at a briefing on May 30.

When asked whether the Pentagon is considering lifting limits on arms supplies to Ukraine, Singh said that the United States does not encourage strikes on Russian territory:

"There's been no change in our policy. The security assistance that we provide Ukraine is to be used within Ukraine and we don't encourage attacks or enable attacks inside of Russia."

According to her, Ukraine can achieve effective results by focusing on tactical and operational goals within its borders:

"We believe that Ukraine can be effective by focusing on tactical and operational targets that directly influence the conflict within its borders rather than going after larger geopolitical targets within Russia. So, our policy has not changed."

She mentions that the security assistance that has been and is being provided to Ukraine is "intended for use within Ukraine."

"If something changes, of course, we will let you know. But right now, that is still our policy. And we believe that we have provided them with the capabilities and systems to be effective on the battlefield now," she adds.

Earlier, Germany made a loud statement on Ukraine's accession to the EU.
