Zelenskyy announced a conversation with Trump

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that today, March 19, he will hold a conversation with US President Donald Trump.

The head of state made the announcement at a press conference with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.

Zelenskyy once again emphasized that in this war it was Russia that attacked Ukraine, which is now repelling this aggression.

"These are the two main subjects of this war, but no one is fighting for subjectivity here, I am simply stating a fact. The war is on the territory of Ukraine, and the aggressor is Russia. And we live, defend ourselves, survive, fight for our sovereignty and independence. And we will definitely win this war. As for what happens next, it is impossible to end this war with a just peace without us," the president noted.

And then he announced a conversation with the American leader. Zelensky hopes to hear from him the next steps and details of the conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

"Today I will have contact with President Trump - we will discuss the details. I think, the details of the next steps. We have already had a really good meeting of our teams. And I think that everything went very well for us, if not for Russia, which is always dissatisfied when something goes right. Therefore, we will talk with him, I think, the details of the next steps. And, I think, I will hear from him the details of his conversation with Putin," the head of state said.

Recall that Western media believe that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has refused a ceasefire in Ukraine , but US President Donald Trump still called the negotiations a victory.
