Pavlo Palis, a participant in negotiations with the United States in Saudi Arabia and Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, revealed some details of the meeting.
He said this on Telegram.
He noted that the parties continued technical consultations on the comprehensive ceasefire, which was agreed upon with the American side in Jeddah. They also agreed on a ceasefire regarding energy facilities and in the Black Sea, which will come into force from the moment of the publication of a joint statement with the United States.
In particular, the Ukrainian side warned the Americans that Russia would stall for time by setting new conditions.
"We warned the American team that the Russians would stall for time and put forward additional conditions. This is further proof that it is the Ukrainians who seek a true and just peace. We are interested in a parity ceasefire, and we will respond immediately in the event of a violation of the agreements," he noted.
He also spoke about "red lines." According to him, there were no talks about territorial concessions.
"This is all Ukrainian land, for which we are fighting and will fight under any conditions. We continue to work on effective mechanisms for monitoring the ceasefire and obtaining effective security guarantees, because it is obvious that there is no trust in the enemy side," Palisa added.
As Apostrophe previously wrote, Ukraine has made certain clarifications regarding agreements with the United States and Russia on the Black Sea .
As a reminder, the White House published the results of technical-level negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation on March 23-25 in Saudi Arabia.
