President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a meeting of representatives of the General Staffs of key countries that are 100% ready to provide their peacekeeping contingent for Ukraine.
The head of state announced this at a briefing.
Zelenskyy noted that he will hold a relevant meeting in a narrow circle in about a week. In particular, such a guarantee will be provided by France and Britain.
After organizing this event, a meeting at the level of national security advisors will take place.
"We have urgently agreed, we are giving it a week, to hold a meeting in Ukraine in a narrow circle of representatives of the General Staffs, the main countries that will 100% prepare for the contingent on the territory of Ukraine. Not all of them will come, we are inviting a narrow circle - France, Britain, Ukraine will definitely be there, it is such a triangle in this matter," he said.
As a reminder, on March 27, a meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing" - representatives of 31 states - took place in Paris, where they discussed support for Ukraine in confronting Russian aggression and ways to a just and lasting peace.
We also wrote that the president invited representatives of the "coalition of the willing" to Ukraine to create a plan for involving foreign forces .
