The Ukrainian Defense Forces are adhering to the terms of the “energy truce.”
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"We emphasize that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are strictly adhering to the agreements reached with partners and have not struck energy facilities either on the territory of the Russian Federation or within the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine. Fire strikes are carried out exclusively against military targets of the Russian occupation army," the General Staff emphasized.
They are convinced that the Foreign Ministry of the aggressor country traditionally spreads false and baseless accusations in order to shift the blame for the disruption of the peaceful settlement onto Ukraine.
"At the same time, numerous violations of these agreements by the Russian army are being recorded. Thus, in the last decade of March, the aggressor repeatedly attacked our energy facilities in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions," the General Staff noted.
As a reminder, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that during the period of the "energy truce" Ukraine allegedly carried out 30 attacks on energy facilities, and on April 2, it allegedly struck a gas distribution station in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region.
As we reported, on the night of April 2, Russia launched a massive attack on Kharkiv with strike drones.
