Republican US House of Representatives member Victoria Spartz suggested that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is paying The Telegraph.
She wrote about this on the X network.
"I wouldn't be surprised if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is paying The Telegraph to fabricate false headlines to continue making money off the blood of the Ukrainian people. I am proud of my Ukrainian heritage of true warriors - not cowards in Zelensky's mafia that is exterminating patriots," Spartz wrote, tagging Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhiy Tykhy in the post.
As a reminder, Spartz made the statement after the scandal surrounding her interview with the British newspaper Telegraph. The congresswoman was accused, in particular, of distorting her words.
Earlier, Spartz stated in an interview that in her opinion, Ukrainians must accept the transfer of their territories to Russia : "I don't understand how Ukraine can demand to keep the land. If they had won the war, it would have been a different story."
As Apostrophe reported, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reacted harshly to Spartz's interview with the British newspaper Telegraph.
