The next London meeting to discuss a ceasefire in Ukraine is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23. It will be attended by representatives of Ukraine, Europe, and the United States.
The new round of negotiations was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the social network X.
The Head of State made the relevant statement after a conversation with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
"A good and detailed conversation. Already on Wednesday, our representatives will work in London. Ukraine, Britain, France, the United States. We are ready to continue to move as constructively as possible to achieve an unconditional ceasefire...", the president said.
Zelensky also noted that an unconditional ceasefire will be the first step towards establishing real and lasting peace in Ukraine.
He noted that the Russian side demonstrated its unwillingness to end hostilities last weekend.
"This Easter showed that it is Russia's actions that are the reason for prolonging the war," the head of state added.
As Apostrophe reported, Zelenskyy announced on April 20 that Russian troops had violated the Easter truce , so Ukraine would act in a mirror manner.
As you know, on April 19, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin declared an Easter truce .
