Sybiha spoke about the results of the negotiations in London - including with Kellogg

Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha summed up Ukraine's talks with colleagues from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and the United States in London on April 23.

This is stated in a message on Telegram.

He noted that active diplomatic work was carried out jointly with the Head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, and the Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov.

There are three important meetings:

  • bilateral with the heads of the British Foreign and Defense Ministries, David Lammy and John Healy;
  • multilateral with national security and foreign policy advisors from Britain, Jonathan Powell, France, Emmanuel Bonn, and Germany, Jens Plöttner;
  • meeting with the United States Special Representative, General Keith Kellogg.

In particular, the meeting with his British colleagues discussed the path to peace and the implementation of the 100-year partnership between the two countries, as concluded this year. He thanked Britain for its unwavering support.

As for the meeting with representatives of Britain, France and Germany, it was about developing previous diplomatic efforts in the French capital. The country confirmed its commitment to peace efforts under the leadership of US President Donald Trump and its readiness to move forward towards the goal of a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace. The parties will continue regular dialogue.

At a meeting with the US President's special envoy, General Keith Kellogg, they held a constructive dialogue on the path to peace.

"Ukraine, like no other in the world, seeks an end to war. We are committed to working together to achieve this goal. I thank my colleague David Lammy and the United Kingdom for their hospitality and leadership. Today's meetings have helped to coordinate positions and reaffirm our strong commitment to lasting peace and security, not only in Ukraine, but throughout Europe and the transatlantic space," the minister added.

Also, the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, spoke on the Telegram channel about the delegation's meeting with the US President's Special Representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg.

He noted that the delegation conveyed its position and emphasized that an immediate, complete and unconditional ceasefire should be the first step towards the start of negotiations to achieve peace.

"We expressed the hope that this corresponds to the vision of US President Donald Trump. I noted that under any circumstances, Ukraine will defend its principled positions during the negotiations, as they constitute the foundations of its sovereignty and territorial integrity," Yermak said.

The Head of the President's Office added that the parties agreed to continue dialogue and regular contacts.

As Apostrophe reported, on April 23, negotiations between representatives of Western governments on a peaceful settlement were held in London.
