On Friday, May 17, the “People’s Front” (“Narodnii Front” in Ukrainian) faction decided to leave the parliamentary coalition.
This was revealed by the faction’s MPs.
“We’re leaving. No one was against this decision,” one of the parliament members stated.
Maksym Burbak, the faction’s leader, will announce this decision in the Verkhovna Rada.
It should be noted that this scenario is exactly the one the “People’s Front” has been considering for a long time. The reason is possible early elections that are not beneficial for many MPs and parties.
In his commentary to journalists, Ihor Lapin, an MP from the “People’s Front”, said that the decision was made unanimously, even though he did not specify which one.
