Zelensky's visit to the United States is in the final preparations stage

In Washington D.C., Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to prepare for President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit to the United States and talks with President Joseph Biden, the Office of President reports.

The interlocutors noted that the meeting of the leaders of Ukraine and the United States scheduled for August 30 will be another step in strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Separately, the parties focused on the further development of the Ukrainian-American partnership in the security and military-technical spheres.

Significant attention was paid to the situation in Donbas and joint efforts to counter Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.

In addition, representatives of Ukraine and the United States discussed energy security of the Ukrainian state and the region as a whole.\

The interlocutors also touched upon the implementation of reforms in Ukraine.

In particular, during the conversation, the progress of our country in cleaning up the judiciary and fighting corruption.

Antony Blinken reaffirmed the United States' unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

The US State Secretary affirmed the United States' unwavering support for the Crimean Platform.
