The Pro-Russian fighters operating in the East of Ukraine deceive their "management", providing it with fake photos from a front line.
According to the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the militants showed old pictures of artillery and tank positions, posing them as new.
"During verification on places, the commissions revealed that part of the photo reports provided by the heads of engineering services in the first quarter of this year are not true.
Thus providing in reports of photos of former positions under the guise of new ones for the equipment of which the funds were allegedly spent was established,” – the investigators reported.
At the moment the enemy command is conducting an internal investigation.
