On Monday, Dec. 11, Hungarian hauliers will start a protest at the border near the Záhony-Chop checkpoint. At the same time, Hungarian border guards assured that this action will not block the border between the countries, as it happens with Poland.
This was reported by the speaker of the HNSU Andriy Demchenko on the air of TV marathon.
Representatives of the Union of Carriers demand immediate revision of the agreement between the European Union, Ukraine and Moldova on road transportation liberalization, the reinstatement of license quotas for the Ukrainian-Hungarian transport, as well as intensive monitoring of Ukrainian hauliers.
Demchenko also noted that as for today are about 1000 vehicles on the border.
Earlier, "Apostrophe" reported that Ukraine had met the conditions for unblocking the border with Poland, which were agreed earlier with the European Commission and official Warsaw.
