Russian "Shahed" flew over Moldova: details of the enemy's night attack have emerged

On the night of Feb. 27, 2024, Russians attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles and 13 UAVs. One of the enemy drones flew into the airspace of Moldova.

This was reported by the Air Force.

According to the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Russians directed the route of one of the drones along the trajectory with the crossing of the Ukrainian-Moldovan section of the state border in Odesa Region. The drone flew over the territory of the neighboring state for several dozen kilometers and re-entered Ukrainian airspace, where it was subsequently destroyed by Ukrainian Air Defense Forces.

At the same time, Moldovan Defense Ministry denied that one of the Russian drones flew through the country's airspace.

Russians attacked with Iskander-M/KN-23 from Voronezh Region, four Kh-59 guided aviation missiles, one Kh-31P anti-radar missile from temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Donetsk Regions, and 13 Shahed attack drones.

Fighter aviation, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare means of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the air attack.

As a result of Air Defense combat operations, two X-59 guided missiles and 11 Shaheds were destroyed within the Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnitsky and Kirovograd Regions.

Earlier "Apostrophe" reported that Russians attacked Nikopol Region on the night of February 26, using kamikaze drones, heavy artillery and MLRS.
