In the documentary film "War for the Sea: from Dnipro to Crimea", which was presented yesterday, March 10, the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (GUR) noted that each combat mission conducted by military intelligence units is a preparation for serious operations in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Kyrylo Budanov emphasized this in the documentary "War for the Sea: From Dnipro to Crimea".
The presentation of the documentary film "War for the Sea: from Dnipro to Crimea" took place on March 10, 2024, on the air of the national TV marathon. In the film, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (GUR), described in more detail the importance of combat missions conducted by military intelligence units. In particular, it is about combat missions in the Black Sea and on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Budanov noted that all these were preparations for a serious operation in Crimea:
"These are all preparations for a serious operation in Crimea. This is a test of the correctness of our statements about the ways of approaching and leaving there. In addition, this is a good message for the population that has been living under occupation for 10 years. Many of them believe that they have been forgotten."
The film also mentions in more detail the moment of the war for the sea in 2022-2023, when the GUR's military personnel participated in the planning and implementation of combat missions, in particular, the crossing to the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Region, the return to the control of Ukraine of the oil and gas production platform "Ukraine" and participation in the Crimean operation "Awakening of Strength".
Earlier we reported that GUR destroyed Russian missile boat "Ivanovets" in Crimea.
