The situation in Kherson has become very dangerous due to the intensity of shelling by the Russian occupiers. Therefore, a planned evacuation of people was organized there.
This was reported by Colonel Natalia Gumenyuk, Head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of Ukrainian Defense Forces "South", on the air of Apostrophe TV.
"There is a planned evacuation from Kherson. It is public, transparent, and accessible. Information about the places of evacuation trips is publicly available to all our citizens. There are certain places in Kherson and other settlements of the region where you can ask for help in evacuation," she emphasized.
Volunteer organizations are also actively working. The priority is to evacuate families with children, but people who have decided to wait out a certain period of active hostilities in a safer place are also being evacuated.
"The enemy does not stop shelling. And unfortunately, they are shelling almost without aim. The territory is shelled in "squares", areas with residential buildings and industrial facilities. Now, when the weather conditions have worsened, the enemy has problems with aerial reconnaissance and aerial guidance. They are simply striking randomly, without specific goals," emphasized Natalia Gumenyuk.
Earlier, "Apostrophe" reported that 5 people were killed and 51 injured as a result of the Russian attack on Sumy and Kryvyi Rih.
