Russia is firing 'fresh' missiles at Ukraine: the Armed Forces revealed the enemy's tactics

For the latest enemy attacks, the Russian military used "fresh" missiles that were manufactured in the last few years. Currently, the situation at the front, particularly near Chasiv Yar, is under control. The enemy's tactics remain unchanged.

Spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force Ilya Yevlash and Spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group of Forces Nazar Voloshyn told about this during the national TV marathon.

The situation with Russian missiles

Ilya Yevlash pointed out that the missiles used by the Russians for the latest attacks on the territory of Ukraine were manufactured recently:

"The missiles were manufactured in recent years - 2023-2024. These missiles are 'fresh' - as soon as the missile was manufactured, it was immediately used."

The Spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, Ilya Yevlash, says that as of now, up to 950 missiles are stored in Russian warehouses, but it is unknown how many of these stocks the enemy can use against Ukraine.

Situation at the war front and enemy tactics

In addition, during the national TV marathon, the Spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group of Forces (OSGF) Nazar Voloshyn spoke about the situation at the war front, in particular in the area of Chasiv Yar - it is currently under control, there is no enemy in the city and its outskirts.

"The situation is under control. There is no enemy in the city or its outskirts," said Nazar Voloshyn, noting that the Russians are using air superiority: "But the enemy is using air superiority, missiles, artillery ammunition to achieve its goal - to reach the borders of Donetsk Region."

According to the Khortytsia OSGF Spokesperson, the enemy's tactics remain stable, with a large number of infantry and constant assault operations. He indicates that assault groups attack with the support of artillery and aviation:

"The assault groups arrive in armored personnel carriers and attack with the support of artillery and aircraft, which is dropping KAB bombs. From time to time, the Russians bring in a large number of artillery, despite the fact that our large-scale counter-battery fight is underway."

Voloshyn noted that most of these strikes are focused on Chasiv Yar. The Spokesperson believes that the occupiers want to bring their military as close to the contact line as possible so that they can continue to launch assaults. However, the Ukrainian military does not allow the enemy to implement their plans - the Armed Forces continue to repel the enemy's attacks.

Earlier, we wrote that the occupiers fired 536 times at 13 settlements in Zaporizhzhia Region.
