During the night of May 20, Russia launched 29 Shahed attack drones at Ukraine. Air Defense Forces and means were able to destoy all enemy UAVs. Air defense was operating in four regions of Ukraine.

At night on May 20, the Russian occupation forces again attacked Ukrainian cities - they launched 29 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs at Ukraine and also fired an Iskander-M ballistic missile at Kharkiv Region.
It is noted that the drones were launched from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk in Russia.
"Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile firing groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and electronic warfare units were involved in repelling the enemy air attack," the Air Force of Ukraine reported.
As a result of the air battle, all 29 enemy drones were destroyed over 4 regions:
- Odesa,
- Mykolaiv,
- Poltava,
- Lviv
