Later, the head of the Sumy OVA, Volodymyr Artyukh, confirmed that Russian troops had launched a missile strike on the city.
Currently, doctors are providing assistance to residents at the site of the strike in Sumy. A school was damaged, and at the time of the strike, children were in a protective structure. A health care facility was also damaged. Preliminary reports indicate that there were no fatalities, the OVA reports.
Currently, 28 people are known to have been injured in Sumy, including four children, said Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar.
