The village of Mali Shcherbaki in Zaporizhia is under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
This was reported by the spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn.
"The day before yesterday, enemy propaganda actively spread information that Russian troops had entered the settlement of Maly Shcherbaki. Having no victories, the enemy is trying to invent these victories and talk about them in the media. I officially declare that we have not lost a single position in Maly Shcherbaki, and this settlement is under the control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine," the Defense Forces spokesman emphasized.
According to Voloshyn, at the same time, the enemy is conducting active assault operations, trying to seize certain bridgeheads and take control of several logistical routes leading from Zaporizhia to other parts of the Zaporizhia region.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia, trying to buy time, is preparing for a new offensive , in particular in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
