The police have denied information about the alleged forceful seizure of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Law enforcement officers are maintaining law and order during a scheduled inspection by museum employees on the territory.
The Kyiv police wrote about this.
"Kyiv police ensure law and order during the commission's work on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve," the report says.
On Friday, March 28, museum specialists will begin a scheduled inspection of the condition of nearby caves located on the territory of the reserve. Police officers were involved to ensure public order.
"Representatives of the clergy who live on the territory of the Lavra do not obstruct the inspection ," the police specify. "However, we would like to note that the provocative information that is being spread by some Telegram channels about the alleged forcible seizure of the territory of the reserve is not true."
Earlier, "Apostrophe" also wrote that a shooting occurred in the Obolonsky district of Kyiv. An ambulance took the man in serious condition, and the attacker was promptly detained by law enforcement officers.
