On Friday, March 28, as part of the repatriation measures carried out in Ukraine, the bodies of another 909 fallen soldiers were returned.
This was reported by the press center of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
As noted, among the returned "on the shield" defenders are those who fell from the Kurakhiv, Pokrovsky, Bakhmut, Vugledarsky, Luhansk, Zaporizhia directions, as well as from morgues on Russian territory.
The bodies of the defenders were able to be returned thanks to the joint work of employees of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the Joint Center under the Security Service, the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ombudsman's Office, the Secretariat of the Commissioner for Persons Missing in Special Circumstances, the State Emergency Service, and other law enforcement agencies.
"We express our gratitude for the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross. Special thanks to the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are transporting the repatriated fallen Heroes...", the message says.
Previously, "Apostrophe" wrote that on March 18, the editorial editor of the TSN.ua website Dmytro Bendikov, who served in the Third Separate Assault Brigade, died in the war.
