Russia has not shelled Ukrainian civilian port infrastructure since the conclusion of a partial ceasefire in the Black Sea.
This was announced in a telethon by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk.
He noted:
"In fact, the main requirement, which concerned the prevention of shelling of civilian port infrastructure, they (shelling - "Apostrophe") did not occur."
In addition, the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy commented on the issue of enemy activity in the waters of the Azov-Black Sea region. He emphasizes that there have been no enemy ships there for the second day. According to him, this has been observed before. In particular, last week, the Russian fleet was absent from the waters for six days, only then did submarines begin to leave, which have now returned to the Novorossiysk base.
"The last shelling was on March 11. As a result, four Syrian sailors died. A grain tanker was also damaged, which was supposed to leave the port for Algeria the next morning," recalls Dmytro Pletenchuk.
Let us recall that earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, announced the acquisition of superiority in the Black Sea.
