A new virus has been spotted on Android - it steals data by disguising itself as device settings.
This spyware is reported to hide its icon and request permission to display on top of other applications.
And when the user tries to uninstall it, a window appears asking for a password. If the password is entered incorrectly, the user is taken to the main screen, and the ability to deactivate and uninstall the program is blocked.
How to delete?
- Restart your phone in safe mode (hold the power button and select "Safe Mode").
- Next, go to "Settings" - "Security" - "Device administrators" and disable the malware.
- Then "Settings" - "Applications", look for the suspicious one and delete it.
- Restart the device.
