Accusations against Durov of deleting the channel on the instructions of the Kremlin: Telegram issued a denial

The Telegram press service denies any involvement in the deletion of the "VChK-OGPU" channel. It is reported that the channel itself was deleted by its owners.

The Telegram press service reported this to the Russian publication "Mediazona".

They say the channel was deleted by its owner, possibly due to unauthorized access. The messenger's press service is investigating.

It is worth noting that the anonymous Telegram channel "VChK-OGPU" ceased to be available on the night of April 7. In the backup account, the channel owners wrote that their channel was deleted by the Telegram management at the request of the Russian authorities.

As a reminder, earlier Ukrainian journalist Denis Kazansky drew attention to the fact that the owner of Telegram, Pavel Durov , could have cooperated with the Kremlin, because on the night of April 7, a number of channels covering the situation in the Kursk region of Russia were removed.
