President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has submitted proposals to the Verkhovna Rada to extend martial law and mobilization in Ukraine.

In particular, the Rada registered a draft law on approval of the decree of the President of Ukraine "On the extension of the term of general mobilization" under No. 13173 dated April 15, 2025, authored by Zelensky, and a draft law on approval of the decree of the President of Ukraine "On the extension of the term of martial law in Ukraine" under No. 13172 dated April 15, 2025, also authored by Zelensky.
Zelenskyy proposes that the Rada agree to extend martial law in Ukraine from 5:30 a.m. on May 9, 2025 for 90 days.
