UAVs attacked Shuya in Ivanovo Oblast, where the missile brigade, which was accused of striking Sumy, is located.
This was reported by Russian publications.
The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country reported that from 08:00 to 09:40, air defense systems allegedly shot down seven drones in the Ivanovo region.
Shuya is home to the 112th Missile Brigade, which the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, accused of attacking Sumy.
Ukrainian journalist Denys Kazansky published a video of the attack on Shuya.
"Drones are broadcasting the location of the 112th missile brigade of the Russian Federation in the city of Shuya, Ivanovo region. It is this brigade that is responsible for the bloody attack on Sumy and the killing of civilians on Palm Sunday. There was not enough air defense to cover such an object. Therefore, they unsuccessfully tried to shoot down the UAVs with machine guns and failed," he wrote.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the anti-aircraft missile system of the 448th missile brigade of the Russian army in Kursk , which on Palm Sunday launched a missile strike on the city of Sumy.
