"The message was delivered accurately": Republican Fitzpatrick signed a shell for Putin on the front lines

American Republican Congressman and Co-Chair of the Ukrainian Caucus in Congress Brian Fitzpatrick signed an artillery shell with a message to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin during a visit to the front lines.

He announced this in a video message published on his Facebook page.

Thus, the Republican representing Pennsylvania visited the Ukrainian military the day before after meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

In particular, he reported that during the visit, the group was fired upon near the Russian border. It was tracked by Russian drones, so it was forced to urgently evacuate the area.

In a video message, Fitzpatrick expressed his support for Ukrainian freedom fighters and called on his colleagues in Congress to come to Ukraine to the front lines.

"They are fighting for their democracy, they are fighting for freedom - all of us in America must stand with them... I have always supported them and I will always support them. I urge all my colleagues in Congress to come here," he said.

Fitzpatrick signed the shell with a "very personal" message addressed to Putin: "To: Putin, From: PA-1. #PeaceThroughStrength."

PA-1 concerns the Pennsylvania community, which the congressman has represented since 2017.

Fitzpatrick stressed that "the message was delivered accurately."

On April 18, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick in Kyiv. They discussed peace efforts, the American proposal for a ceasefire, and security guarantees for Ukraine.

As Apostrophe wrote, the United States is expecting a response from Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on the ceasefire proposal by the end of this week.
