Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky noted how the fighting experience of Ukrainians has proven that in conditions of an asymmetric war it is possible not only to deter a much stronger enemy, but also to win.
He stated this on Telegram, recalling an online speech at the International Academic Forum "Military Innovations in Modern Wars."
The key topics for discussion were the challenges of asymmetric warfare, their impact on global security, and the role of innovation in modern military conflicts.
"Ukraine's repulsion of the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation proved that technology, networked control structures, cognitive operations, and information influences play a significant role in modern warfare. The war of the 21st century is a multidimensional confrontation that encompasses the battlefield, economy, cyberspace, and society. We must not just adapt, but form the latest strategies for victory," the commander-in-chief writes.
He emphasizes:
"The experience of our struggle has proven that in conditions of an asymmetric war, it is possible not only to deter a much stronger enemy, but also to win... I am convinced that through joint efforts we will achieve a just peace for Ukraine."
Earlier, Oleksandr Syrsky also reported that the plans of the Russian occupiers are unchanged - the enemy wants to push the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine beyond the borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and reach the administrative borders of these regions.
