Sources in the Defense Forces have reported the death of one of Russia's leading designers, Yevgeny Rytikov, in a car explosion in Bryansk, Russia. He modernized electronic warfare equipment.

This was reported by the RBC-Ukraine publication.

It is known that Rytikov headed the design bureau of the Bryansk Electromechanical Plant, which is the main developer and innovator in the field of creating the latest electronic warfare and electronic warfare equipment for the Russian occupation army.

According to an interlocutor in the Defense Forces, the deceased was responsible, in particular, for the modernization of the Russian electronic warfare complex "Krasukha", which is considered one of the most advanced and is designed to combat airborne radars of attack, reconnaissance and unmanned aircraft.

Rytikov died on the night of April 17-18. He had just gotten into a car with a colleague when it exploded. It is believed that the other deceased person was the deputy head of the design bureau or his assistant.
