The US Balad military base in Iraq was targeted by a rocket attack. The strike hit the Taji military camp, located north of Baghdad.
According to Al-Hadath, the strike was carried out with the help of Katyusha multiple launch rocket systems.
As preliminary data reports, five rockets fell near the military base.
Local media have not yet published information about the victims of the American or Iraqi military.
It should be noted that the same base was shelled on January 8. Then, it was targeted by five missiles. Iranian authorities stated that the attack was a retaliatory strike to the murder of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani.
