On Monday morning, Jan. 8, Russian occupation troops launched another missile attack on Ukraine - " Kinzhals" flew mainly to the west, while the ballistic missiles at the south and east of Ukraine. A hit on the shopping mall in Kryvyi Rih was recorded.
This is stated in local Telegram channels.
It is noted that residents heard several explosions. Later it became known about the hit on the local shopping mall. In addition, it was reported about broken windows in the entrances located nearby.
"There was a hit on the shopping center in Kryvyi Rih. Information about the destruction and victims is being clarified," - was written on the network at 8.00 a.m.
The published photos and videos show that part of the shopping center "Sun Gallery Mall" was significantly damaged - the debris are on the floor, windows are broken, there is no electricity. According to local residents, the store "Auchan" was damaged.
The Head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul said that the situation is under control now. However, due to extreme weather conditions in the city 15 thousand customers are without power. Four boiler houses are working on generators in the mode of water circulation, 2 pumping stations of the City Water Supply Company are also working on generators.
"Because of the icing trolleybuses and streetcars don't work. High-speed streetcars work partially. Buses, shuttles, diesel-generator trolleybuses are working. Utility workers and rescuers are removing tree debris. All public utilities of the city are working in a reinforced mode, special equipment is working on the roads", - he wrote in Telegram-channel.
