Russians launched a strike on Dnipro: the TPP was seriously damaged, the city faced power and water outages

On Tuesday night, February 13, the enemy launched an attack on Dnipro. The power plant (TPP) was damaged as a result of the strike. There were power outages and the pumping station stopped working.

This was reported by the Mayor of Dnipro Borys Filatov.

According to him, Russians struck civilian infrastructure. The alert lasted more than two hours.

As reported in DTEK, as a result of enemy shelling TPP stopped producing electricity.

"On the night of February 12-13, one of DTEK's thermal power plants was hit as a result of shelling. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. The equipment of the enterprise was seriously damaged in the attack. The station stopped generating electricity," the statement said.

After the shelling stopped, the power engineers started to eliminate the consequences and resume the work of the equipment.

As reported in "Dniproprovodokanal", after the attack on Dnipro there were power outages, the pumping station in the residential area Livoberezhny-3 stopped working. The water supply to a number of addresses was partially stopped.

Ukrainian Air Force reported an attack of 23 "Shahed-136/131" strike UAVs from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russian Federation, Cape Chauda - temporarily occupied Crimea. As a result of combat operations, 16 enemy strike UAVs were destroyed in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Regions.
