During the attack on the Russian ship "Sergey Kotov", the Ka-29 helicopter and AK-176 artillery gun mount were destroyed.
Such information, previously disseminated in the Russian media, was confirmed by Dmytro Pletenchuk, a representative of the Ukrainian Navy.
According to the information of the Russian media, the ship was struck at 00.50. The strikes were carried out from two sides by five unmanned kamikaze boats. During attempts to tow the ship to the port of Feodosia it sank. No casualties were reported on Russian channels.
Pletenchuk noted that Russians carried out the search and rescue operation, some crew members were saved. But given the dark time of day and low water temperature, it is impossible to say that most of the crew was rescued.
