A transformer substation in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv was completely destroyed as a result of a morning Russian attack on Kyiv.
This was reported by the press service of DTEK.
"This morning, missile fragments damaged the power grid and completely destroyed a transformer substation in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital," the statement said.
It is noted that as soon as the security situation allows, DTEK's power engineers will start restoring power.
"At 8:10 a.m., we managed to supply power to most of the houses using backup sources. About 10 private houses and one commercial building remain without power. By the end of the day we should have electricity back on," the press service added.
