On the night of June 19, Russia attacked the Lviv Region with Shahed drones - a hit was recorded in Malekhiv. One man was hospitalized. An office building, a multi-story residential building, and private houses were damaged.

The Mayor of Lviv reported a Shahed in the region around 3 a.m., and at 4:01 a.m. he wrote about a drone strike on the territory of the Lviv community. Later, Sadovyi clarified that the hit was recorded in Malekhiv, Lviv community. A 70-year-old male security guard was wounded. His condition is assessed as moderate.
However, at 4:47 a.m., Sadovyi wrote that drones had been spotted in the region again. Air defense was operating in the Lviv community. At 5:22 a.m., the Mayor of Lviv wrote that another explosion was heard in Malekhiv.
Later in the morning, at 5:38 a.m., he updated the information about the attack, noting that a multi-story residential building was damaged. An office building was also damaged, and a security guard was injured. The man was hospitalized. Windows in 5 private houses were smashed.
At the same time, the Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration (LRMA), Maksym Kozytskyi, wrote on Telegram that a 47-year-old man was injured during the first night attack by the Shahed drones in Lviv Region.
"In Malekhiv, a man received cut injuries. Medics provided him with assistance on the spot. No hospitalization was required," he said, adding that this information was officially confirmed by the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine as of 5:30 a.m.
Air defense performance
Maksym Kozytskyi also noted that thanks to the night work of Air Defense Forces in Lviv Region, 5 out of 5 Shahed drones were destroyed. He noted that during the first attack there were 4 enemy drones: "According to the information from the Operational Command Zakhid (West), as of 5:55 a.m., during the first night alarm, which lasted from 2:32 a.m. to 3:35 a.m. on June 19, 4 enemy drones entered the airspace of Lviv Region."
And during the second air alert, which lasted from 4:27 to 5:24 a.m., another drone attempted to attack the region.
