On Thursday, July 4, Russia attacked Kyiv with drones. The air alert was announced at around 4 am.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.
"The enemy launched its drones from the territory of the Kursk Region of the Russian Federation, and the drones were approaching Kyiv in waves and from different directions," the statement said.
The air defense system performed perfectly, shooting down all the drones - none of them made it to the capital. Preliminary, there were no casualties or damage in Kyiv.
Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk reported that on July 4, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 22 Shahed drones, 21 of which were shot down in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Dnipro and Poltava regions.
As Apostrophe reported earlier, Russia may be looking for new tactics and methods to attack Kyiv.
