On the night of March 20, Kropyvnytskyi experienced the most massive drone attack by the Russian Federation during the full-scale war. About 30 explosions were heard in the city. The residential neighborhoods of Novomykolaivka and Balashivka were under attack.
The head of the Kirovohrad OVA, Andriy Raykovych, said that the private sector and high-rise buildings were shelled.
" As a mockery - enemy drones survived on Mir Street ," he noted.
The State Emergency Service noted that according to preliminary information, 8 people were injured, including one child. Rajkovic specified that three people were hospitalized. One person in serious condition with 90% burns on the surface of the body was taken to the hospital, where he is undergoing surgery.
At the same time, the police report that ten people, including four children, were injured. All were promptly provided with medical assistance, and several citizens were hospitalized.
" The children suffered minor injuries to their arms and legs from glass fragments. They were provided with assistance and released home, " said Vasyl Khoroschak, head of the regional children's hospital.
Rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the massive attack. Residential buildings in several areas have broken windows, destroyed balconies, and suffered structural damage.
Recall that the Russian strike on Kropyvnytskyi took place despite Trump's agreement with Putin on an "energy and infrastructure" ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.
