On the night of Friday, April 18, Russia attacked Sumy, Dnipro, and Kharkiv. The enemy struck with Shahed strike UAVs and, according to preliminary data, ballistic missiles with cluster munitions.

In Sumy, the enemy struck an industrial facility. This was reported by Acting Mayor of Sumy Artem Kobzar. According to him, all three "Shahedas" hit one building. The building was damaged, the roof was destroyed.
"Unfortunately, there is information about a deceased person. Also, one person called an ambulance," Kobzar emphasized.
The mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, wrote about the explosions in Kharkiv. He reported that an enemy missile hit a densely populated area of Kharkiv: "There is a hit in a high-rise building."
According to preliminary information, the strikes on Kharkiv were carried out by ballistic missiles with cluster munitions, Terekhov believes : "That is why the affected areas are very large."
As of 7:10 a.m., he reported 54 wounded in the morning missile strike on Kharkiv. One person died.
Explosions were also heard in Dnipro. OVA chief Serhiy Lysak reported that a fitness center, a hotel, and an office were damaged as a result of a rocket attack in Dnipro itself.
"Dry grass caught fire in Pidgorodne. Private houses and greenhouses were damaged. In the Novooleksandrivska community, property in an outbuilding was burning. The fire was extinguished," adds Lysak.
There are no deaths or injuries.
