On Tuesday, April 22, at around 11:30 a.m., Russia attacked Zaporizhia. As a result of the strike on a residential high-rise building, a fire and destruction were recorded in one of the districts.

Andriy Kovalenko, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, wrote on Telegram:
"In Zaporizhia, the Russians struck a residential high-rise building."
The head of the OVA, Ivan Fedorov, reported that two people were injured in the attack. They are being taken to the hospital. One 69-year-old woman died.
"She was seriously injured. The doctors tried to resuscitate her, but they could not save her," Fedorov added.
Later, the head of the OVA noted : "Two children were injured due to the Russian attack on Zaporizhia. A 14-year-old boy is in serious condition, a 4-year-old boy is in moderate condition. Medics are providing all necessary assistance."
