On Friday, April 25, drones attacked the city of Shuya in the Russian Federation, where the 112th Missile Brigade is permanently stationed. Explosions were also heard in temporarily occupied Crimea. Drones attacked airfields in Novofedorivka and Kach.
"Apostrophe" will tell you more about this later.
Russian Telegram channels reported that residents of Shuya, Ivanovo Oblast, were reporting explosions and sirens in the city. Local authorities claimed that the city was apparently repelling a drone attack.
Blogger and volunteer Serhiy Sternenko clarified that the 112th missile brigade of the Russian Federation is located in Shuya.
The Crimean Wind Telegram channel wrote about the night attacks on temporarily occupied Crimea. It mentioned that UAVs attacked Russian airfields in Novofedorivka and Kachi. The drone "raid" lasted about five hours in a row.
Explosions were also heard in Armyansk and Krasnoperekopsk. The consequences of the drones' operation are still unknown.
The head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation, Petro Andryushchenko, indicated in Telegram that locals counted at least seven "arrivals" in the city:
"The epicenter is in the area of the "tank mountains" - a place near the location of the 112th missile brigade of the Russian Federation, which struck, in particular, Sumy. The previous attack took place on April 16. The time has come to "repeat"."
At the same time, this morning the Russian ministry reported 79 Ukrainian drones allegedly shot down. Of these, 59 were allegedly destroyed and intercepted over Crimea, 11 over the Black Sea, and the rest over the territory of Belgorod, Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, and Ivanovo regions.
Recall that previously, drones had already attacked Shuya in the Ivanovo region, where the missile brigade, which was accused of striking Sumy, is located.
