I was in the operational briefing this morning: Putin was informed about the "liberation" of the Kursk region

Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov reported to dictator Vladimir Putin about the alleged liberation of the Kursk region. However, in the morning, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the fighting in the Kursk region in an updated report.

"Apostrophe" will tell you more about this, citing sources.

Russian publications wrote, citing Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, that Gerasimov allegedly reported to the Kremlin master about the "liberation" of Kurshchyna.

In addition, Gerasimov officially announced for the first time the participation of North Korean fighters in the battles for Kursk. He indicated that they, acting side by side with the Russian military in the Kursk region, "showed resilience and heroism."

At the same time, it is worth recalling that on the morning of April 26, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published an updated summary, which discussed the fighting in the Kursk region.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to restrain the invaders in the Kursk direction. Thus, over the past day, the enemy carried out 28 air strikes, dropping 37 KABs, and carried out 370 attacks, 9 of which were from MLRS. Ukrainian defenders stopped 30 assault actions of the invaders," the General Staff reported.

As a reminder, the Financial Times previously wrote that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin had proposed a halt to hostilities in Ukraine along the current front line.
