Belarus and the Russian Federation approved a joint military doctrine

On Thursday, November 4, at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, which Russian President Vladimir Putin and illegitimate Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko held online, a new joint military doctrine was approved, BelTA agency reports.

State Secretary of the Union State Dmytro Mezentsev said that the adoption of the joint military doctrine of two countriesis a result of a changing military and political situation in the region, and unprecedented pressure imposed on Russia and Belarus.

"The new military doctrine will increase the level of coherence of defense policy and the tasks of the defense ministries, taking into account changing military and political situation in the region,"Mezentsev said.

It is noted that the document will be signed in line with all procedures.
