Strike on a factory in the Samara region of the Russian Federation: OSINT analysts published satellite images

Satellite images have appeared online showing the aftermath of a strike on the Promsintez plant in Chapayevsk, Samara Region, Russia, which is one of the leading manufacturers of industrial explosives, on the night of April 5.

The relevant footage was shared by Polish OSINT researcher Blinzka on the social network X.

The researcher found scorched earth around three workshops of the Russian enterprise on Sentinel-2 satellite images. Eyewitnesses were too far away to record video that would clearly show the extent of the damage, but the satellite images indirectly confirm the success of the strike.

He noted that after the drone attack on an explosives factory in the Russian city of Chapayevsk, burn marks were visible around two buildings in the area.

"Sentinel-2 satellite images taken today compared to two days ago and Google Maps," the analyst said.

As Apostrophe wrote, the SBU announced the successful destruction of the Promsintez enterprise in Chapayevsk, Samara Oblast, Russia, by Ukrainian strike drones last night.

Also, on the night of April 5, Ukrainian Armed Forces drones attacked a factory in Saransk that produces fiber-optic cables used to control UAVs.
