Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev once again accused Europe and the United States of creating the risk of nuclear conflict.
He wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
According to Medvedev, the risk of a nuclear war has not decreased, and the blame lies with the position of the United States and Europe.
"The threat has reached its highest level. The Trump administration at least verbally acknowledges this (though, by proposing to spend a record $1 trillion on defense). The European idiots have not. On the contrary, they have begun to shake their meager strategic potentials again," the Russian politician said in his characteristic manner.
He is convinced that nuclear disarmament is impossible in the coming decades.
"The situation is such that even with a complete cessation of the conflict around the so-called "Ukraine", nuclear disarmament is impossible in the coming decades. The world will create new, more destructive types of weapons, and more and more countries will acquire nuclear arsenals. How this will end has long been known," Medvedev said.
Previously, "Apostrophe" also wrote how one of Dmitry Medvedev's statements completely destroyed the words of American leader Donald Trump that Russia was supposedly signaling readiness for peace.
